Gro is a yield optimizer that enables leverage and protection through risk-tranching. Vault is Gro's product that offers DeFi yields with additional leverage for higher yield but more exotic risk such as the failure of a major stablecoin or protocol. Vault deposits are tokenised as GVT, which gradually increases in value by accruing yield.
