About Curve.Fi USD Stablecoin
crvUSD is a decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin issued by Curve Finance and pegged to the US dollar. Users mint crvUSD by borrowing against collateral such as ETH, wstETH or WBTC, and positions are managed by Curve's LLAMMA mechanism, which gradually converts collateral as prices move instead of liquidating it all at once. Peg stability is supported by PegKeeper contracts and a variable borrow rate, and crvUSD can be deposited into Savings crvUSD (scrvUSD) to earn a share of interest.
