# ERTH Token (erth)

> ERTH Token is a deflationary BEP-20 Token that uses the reflection model to benefit charity & it's holders. It also guarantees the project's longevity. We have a built-in mechanism to guarantee funding for charity & marketing by charging a tax on each transaction. The ERTH protocol, according to the green paper, works in the following way: in each trade, the transaction is taxed with a fee of 9%, which is cut into three parts. While 4% of the fee is redistributed to all of the token holders at the time, another 4% is then split in half again, with 50% sold by the contract into BNB, and the remaining 50% automatically paired with the aforementioned BNB and added to PancakeSwap as a liquidity pair. The last 1% is also sold by the contract into BNB and collected by the team's dedicated charity wallet. After reaching a certain charity goal each month the community at ERTH then chooses an organization to donate the money to by running a poll. ERTH made its first donation of $2,300 on May 27, 2021 to Trees Of The Future according to their twitter. According to the developers, ErthToken also has plans to develop Erth.tools which is a dedicated site run under them that will have a variety of Dx Apps including a Live Chart, Swap feature, Token Locker, BEP-20 contract creator, and more. The paid features of these apps will then allocate a percentage of their revenue to charity.
